Why I Created Stephanie Speaks

There comes a moment when you stop waiting for the perfect time and start honoring the quiet voice inside that says, “Now is the time to rise.” For me, that moment came after surviving breast cancer and facing the truth that I had spent far too long shrinking myself—despite everything I’d accomplished.

Stephanie Speaks was born from a promise I made to myself: to stop playing small, to speak boldly, and to build something that would pour into women the way I wished someone had poured into me.

This isn’t just a blog. It’s a sanctuary. A soft space for women—especially those of us 50 and better—who are navigating big transitions, redefining success, and craving real conversations about money, meaning, and midlife reinvention.
